Delivery Scheduling & Instructions

To ensure your fresh-cut Christmas tree arrives precisely when needed, we recommend placing orders at least 72 hours before your desired delivery date—especially for peak dates (December 20-24). Orders received by noon ET typically process same-day. While we require signatures for security, you may email special drop-off instructions in advance (e.g., “Leave with doorman at 456 River Street”). Our drivers will make every effort to follow these requests while prioritizing your tree’s safety. For apartment deliveries, please include buzzer codes and clear entry directions in your order notes.

Freshness Guarantee & Care

Every PIER1TREEHOBOKEN tree arrives cut-to-order and pre-hydrated for maximum longevity. Upon delivery, immediately place your tree in a stand with 1 gallon of water (even if the trunk feels damp), and keep it away from heat sources. Should any concerns arise, email pier1treehoboken@gmail.com within 24 hours so our local team can assist. Note that as perishable items, trees and wreaths cannot be returned—but we fully stand by their quality.

Delivery Transparency

While we commit to delivering within your selected 1-day window, holiday demand may occasionally cause delays. You’ll receive real-time tracking emails once your tree dispatches, and we proactively monitor all deliveries. Though weekends are typically reserved for tree farm operations, expedited Saturday delivery may be available for urgent orders (additional fees apply). In rare cases where courier issues occur, we’ll collaborate directly with delivery partners to resolve them promptly.

Post-Holiday Services

After the season ends, take advantage of our free recycling program—simply schedule a pickup when ordering your tree. We transform all collected trees into mulch for Hoboken’s parks. For non-perishable items like stands or lights, returns are accepted within 14 days if unused and in original packaging; contact our team to initiate the process.
